We have a hearing problem & so far have not gotten any help from our ENT. He just said, he did not expect we would ever get our hearing back.
We read your column, where a person wrote in about not obtaining satisfactory treatment for their hearing problem. They finally found a good ENT who was able to diagnose & clean a fine film of wax next to the ear drum. This cured his problem. Can you help me find who this Dr was?

The best way to fight tinnitus is to learn how to mask the noise,there is no cure for it,always have a nice music around you and very important,hight blood pressure produce noise too.We are in the same boat.

Wouldn't the odds of you and this person living even in the same state be extremely low? (I have constant tinnitus -- ringing in my ears -- and am losing my hearing too, so I feel your pain.)
Im not a doctor, but if you ask for a referral to another ENT you should have better luck. that's not a complicated or complex procedure, obviously.
