My 33 year-old daughter is thoroughly frustrated and has visited every imaginable doctor to find a solution to her problems. Fourteen months ago she started having rectal/vaginal itching and burning. After visiting her gynecologist and being treated for a vaginal infection nothing improved, then her mouth started getting red and irritated. In short, beside seeing her gynecologist and family doctor, she has been to dentists, oral surgeons, dermatologists, digestive disorder doctors for a colonoscopy, been tested for acid reflux. So far, the dermatologist discovered through allergy testing that she is allergic to resin. . . which is in almost everything! But the Dr. was not able to tell her what to do about it. She has been to the Cleveland Clinic's dermatology department and was not satisfied with her visit there. She is now trying a holistic doctor who is suggesting a series of treatments. After her first treatment she experienced a very rapid heartbeat which we think affected her mitral value prolapse condition, although the holistic doctor denies that would have been a reaction to their treatment. She is extremely frustrated and has eliminated as many things as possible that her body comes in contact with that contains rosin, with little relief. We are even concerned that the level of chlorine in our city water is causing a problem, so we are using a filter to purify drinking water and have put filters on the shower heads to purify bathing water. Can you offer any suggestions to her as to where she can look for possible solutions?
